Well, if they're different from what you're used to, maybe you could learn anyway. Since you'd have a basic idea of what not to do.

Well, it's not like I couldn't pilot it, probably! I just don't know how I'd even turn them on without a Pair. But if they're really different, that might not matter! [Though maybe you should, idk, ASK before touching that gundam, it's probably expensive...]

It seems to me that some of those mechs, at least, are single-pilot... so maybe you don't need a "pair".
