After living in terrible apartments all my adult life, I have finally settled into a home with a yard. Yay! I am greatly looking forward to moving from killing houseplants to what I am calling, "practice homesteading". Problem number 1:
The yard has been overgrown, leveled, and neglected for several years. It took me a week to clear away all the death and now I am trying to take stock of the plants that have survived. But I am such a growing newbie I don't have a clue what I'm looking at. I have taken some pictures in hopes someone kind will give me a hand so I know how to take care of what I have.
I am pretty sure these are the same type of vine in different parts of the yard.
Is this a younger version of the same plant or something different?
Cannot identify this one at all.
This is growing in several places.
originally, I wanted to grow food in my new yard, but being in full shade all the time has made that not likely at all. I know a few edibles don't mind shade but if I cant even grow grass in this yard I am thinking it's not going to happen. In any case, if you can help sort me out what is growing I would be very thankful.
