Mums and Tulips and Daffodils, oh my.

I have a small 3x3 foot garden around the mail box. It is mostly comprised of bulbs, tulips, daffodils that bloom in the spring and saffron crocus that bloom in the fall. In between it grows some very happy weeds.

My question is if I need to do anything special with my bulbs. I would only disturb the tulips and daffodils and I know its recommended that they are planted in the fall so I don't think I'll hurt any of them, I just want a little
