Hello, everyone! I am brand new at growing things, but I'd like to start. :) My boyfriend and I live in a mobile home in Georgia (not as redneck as it sounds, I swear!), and I'd like to get a planter and a little something to put in it to put on the front porch steps.
However, it's hot as Hades down here, so I'm not sure what could survive okay. Any tips on something colorful/bright to liven up the place when it's 100+ degrees regularly? I can do upkeep with the best of 'em, but I don't want anything I touch to die!
