Dead Grass in A Half Hour?
Hello, I'm in the Florida Panhandle (Zone 8b) and have a mix of mostly St. Augustine and Centipede grass. There's some weeds in there, too. We're close to the beach so our soil is mostly a black sort of sand. The day before yesterday in the afternoon I laid a clear plastic down to spraypaint some frames. The plastic was down for maybe 30 minutes total. Yesterday I walked outside and saw this:
Anybody know what happened? I've done this before and the grass has been fine... though it's been a little cooler out the previous times. Anything I can do, such as fertilize or water that spot extra? Or am I going to have to throw down some centipede seed?
