Julius!
I think Julius is sick or something D: A yellow spot has appeared on him, near the base. It's a kind of pus-yellow color, and, after digging out his base (I didn't realize I planted him so low (x_x)) it looks like he has bruising. I did find a little bit of mold around one of the spines at the base, but I think that came from a bit of seed pod material I missed (I had a seed pod in there that I was holding onto from a really pretty purple viney plant where I lived before my boyfriend's parents).

The bruising.
I think that this is all attributed to over-watering, especially around the base. Should I dig him up and repot in the dirt? Or should I just leave him in lots of light and not water him at all? I should dig him up and repot him because I think that's why he's growing crooked (now that I see that there are spines in the dirt (x___x)).
