Dying Rosemary
Hello, I was hoping someone could give me advice about my rosemary plant.
I'm a balcony herb gardener and so far everything has been going great. However, two days ago, I noticed that the bottom leaves of my rosemary bush had begun drying out. To my horror, I found out that one of my friends had been giving her extra water every time he came over. He thought that the soil looked dry and that I had been neglecting my plants.
I transferred the plant to a larger pot with more soil yesterday, hoping that the dryer soil will help draw out the excess water away from the roots. I also noticed that the roots looked pretty cramped in there when I moved her.
Do you think she will make it? Or should I salvage what I can for cooking and just start over with a new bush?
