I decided this year to challenge myself into growing . . . veggies! From seed no less! So far, I have three kinds of tomatoes (beefsteak, sweetie, and roma), cilantro, parsley, oregano , sweet peppers, New Mexico hot peppers, some mystery super spicy peppers, and a few Oregon sugar peas. So far, all my tomatoes have sprouted and some have started sprouting their true leaves. Same goes for my sweet peppers and cilantro, although the latter came out very spindly. So, in tomatoes alone I could have about twenty-seven plants!
I don't want to overwhelm myself so I'm planning on giving a lot of these kids away, but how many should I keep for myself? We are a family of four with hardly any space so these will be contained veggies. Should I keep three of each? Five? One?
Any help and suggestions are immensely appreciated! =D
