What's on my raspberries?
Last year was our first year in our new home. We were lucky enough to find a yard that had a ton of existing things that I'd always wanted to grow. Raspberries, peaches, plums, two types of cherries and two types of grapes! Last year the raspberries were AMAZING. not a lot of maintenance to do, and AMAZING yield. The berries were giant! Compliments everywhere we took them.
I was looking forward to another great year, we even took some time to build a bramble trellis for them. This year though, it seems fate is not on our side, and we have some sort of rust or blight of some sort. :( boo.
eta: I dont see any gray or purple leigions on the canes of the raspberry, so I'm thinking it's orange rust :( still not good.
In other news, my peach tree has the curl again this year. It was so sunburnt from defoliation last year that I'm very worried for it's well being. :(
