It's still frigid here in New England, but with the powers of the basement greenhouse in my new place, I'm starting seeds early en masse. My plan is to build a raised bed and fill it with violet and peach flowers, then plant deeper burgundy (potted dahlias, geraniums; tulips in the ground, and creeping thyme) near the front door. On a slope down to the driveway, ornamental grasses, and in a small area in back a secluded tea garden furnished with black flowers. Then I'll work a massive veggie garden in our sunny back yard. Ambitious? Me? Nah...

Some of my tomato choices from Burpee. Let me know if you have any experience with any of these!
