I know this post is kinda old, but I just ordered from her website. After what I've read online and after sending 2 emails and no response, I'm filing a claim to refund my money... I wish she would take her site down if it's no longer active.

Sorry to hear about that. I do hope you get your money back!
I also wish she would take her site down and stop her services when there's no promise to anything.

As much as I hate to I'm gonna wait 3 days. No response by this weekend and I'm just gonna escalate it.

Do you think Paypal will side with me or will I be out $54?

How long ago did you send the money to her?
Usually if it's within a reasonable amount of time, paypal will side with you and refund the money.
I just never got my money back 'cause I ended up waiting too long.

I got my PP reciept on the 26th of January, so 4 days ago.

I really want to just escalate it now as I borrowed the money and could easily return it now and use my money next month for something else, like maybe possibly finding these trading figures not in $80 lots or for $50 individually... sigh...

Normally I think you will be fine since 4 days isn't so long ago. I think other people have said paypal can work with refund claims as long as it's within a month.

But if you prefer the money back sooner instead of waiting, you could escalate it now just to be safe. It just depends on whether you want to wait or not.

Alright. Thanks so much for helping me :) I'll give it a day or so and then escalate to a claim.

More people need to be aware of this site and it's inactivity though. Seems to be a growing problem!

Ah, I just read paypal's faq a bit and if you plan on escalating the claim, do it within 20 days. So at least you have a time limit to go off of~

I hope people become more aware too. I looked around on tumblr (i think she's the most active there?) and it looks like some people are. So hopefully more word spreads out.

It says I'm required to wait 3-4 days before escalating so that's cool with me. I have a long weekend ahead of me at work so I won't have time to fume over it right now. I'll let you know how it goes.
