Admittedly I sorta purposely rigged the whole thing just for the sake of setting up Mitsu. (and unfortunately unintentional yaoi ships which I don't even support) Yui may fit into the role of Taichi/Takato etc etc though she's way more airheaded then them.

Well, the Mitsu part kinda came later on with the switching around. I'm not so sure if it was the Mitsu bit or the fact that Ritsu is the leader (if not poor one).

Not really as the Romance genre is pretty recycled to the point of predictability. Not to say that's a bad thing since recycled ideas can still be entertaining.

Nonetheless, I'd still like to see page 3. I'm guessing on the last panel Mio starts bawling over her heart being broken? Hmm...you could purposely mistranslate it for a more favourable ending and no-one would know unless they read Japanese.
