Life on the Front

So, I've now worked a full week at my new job. I've now learned two new games in the last week. That should be good for my prospects with this job. The more games you learn, the more likely you can get raises, and be put on the bigger money tables. I've been talking to some of the veterans, and they have been saying that I show a lot of promise, so that's always encouraging.

I can't wait to get my first couple of paychecks as well. I've been so cash strapped that my new large influx of cash will finally let me pay back much of the money I owe in very little time. That would be a great relief off of my chest. Plus, maybe I can pick up a few household items that I've been wanting, like a new nightstand. I'm not saying that my current plastic stackable drawers isn't functional, I'm just saying they're tacky.

I also went on an exciting adventure today. My roommate and I went all around Oakland, especially CompUSA and End Game. After that, I went to Le Target and we got various goods there. At that time, I realized that my mom was off work and that I also needed to get my car insurance card. So, I went to my parents house to get it. My roommate got introduced to my father's giant 100 lbs German Sheppard who apparently decided that my roommates face was perhaps the most tasty thing in all of existence. Thus, he decided that he needed to jump on to his chest in an effort to turn him into a giant Tootsie Pop. The complaints about his jacket having been pierced will not end. I don't think it is invalid, only annoying. It wasn't even my dog, my dog was perfectly nice to him.
