Hello? Hello??
I was just in the middle of my dinner when my phone rang. I didn't recognise the number but it was a London code so I answered it. It turned out to be one of those automated call things that recognise what you've said.
Bot: Hello, I'm calling from [some insurance company], I've believe you've been in a car accident recently that wasn't your fault, is that correct?
Me: Oh yes, absolutely.
Bot: I'm sorry to hear that, just one moment while I connect you to my supervisor.
*call centre noise, woman with strong Indian accent answers*
Caller: Hello, you're speaking to [name], how are you today?
Me: Oh, absolutely terrible.
Caller: As you've just confirmed with my colleague, I believe you've been in a car accident that wasn't your fault. When did this accident happen?
Me: Yesterday.
Caller: Can you tell me what happened?
Me: Oh yes, I was just driving along and then a car rear-ended me, another one hit me from the front and then one hit me from the side as well, it was horrible!
Caller: What are your injuries?
Me: I'm in a complete body cast.
Caller: *click*
Me: Oh, they hung up.
