I saw the first film on my list for this year today, The Greatest Showman. It was entertaining enough, although a bit too saccharine and cringe-inducing in some places and some of the cast were not quite up to scratch. Fun fact: I've been inside the house that inspired the book "The House With A Clock In Its Walls". It's in Marshall, Michigan and has been on the annual tour several times. :D

I know absolutely nothing about that book, except that it's a great title! It sounds like it's a children's film though so I don't imagine I'll be seeing it in the cinema.

I only knew about the Mary Queen of Scots film because of the David Tennant website, they've been sharing pictures from the filming. I know very little about the other one but it's an interesting story!
