House trained Pet Up For Sale

I was checking eBay this morning to see if the item I'd won had been posted out yet when I caught sight of a strange image in the 'Other items that might interest you' section at the bottom of the page. I pulled up the listing for a better look and was greeted with this listing for a 'House trained Pet'. I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing so I made sure to take screenshots to share the craziness with you all.

It's got to be one of the most bizarre things I've seen on eBay (which is saying something). It's listed under Electronic Pets and I think the idea is that you don't actually get the person themselves, you get a webpage or something where you can communicate with them as a sort of virtual pet. A Human Tamagotchi as it were, only with less pooping (hopefully). A snip at £65,500!

I'm wondering how long it's going to be before it gets taken down and how much higher the bid is going to go! At first I thought it would be okay because it's a service, albeit a weird one, but eBay would probably class it as an offer for an online relationship which isn't allowed. That's obviously why the bidding has gone so high, the bidders don't expect it to be valid. If you want to check it out for yourself, it's here.

My 'i don't think i have a tag for this' tag was never more apt.

photies, i don't think i have a tag for this
