Season's Greetings
It's going to be December after the end of this week, when did that happen?! I've noticed a few people have been making posts about Christmas cards over the past week or so, and so I'm doing this post in response.
I don't understand this whole thing about asking to be sent a card and I've always struggled with that but I've never said anything about it until now. I send cards to people I'm thinking of, to let them know that I'm thinking of them. The card says that they're in my mind/thoughts/heart/whatever at that time. I don't ask them first. It seems like it goes against the whole point of it.
I don't like asking for stuff at the best of times and so I'm never going to ask to be sent a card. If you'd like to send me a card to let me know that you're thinking of me, then send one. If not, no worries. I accept e-cards just as much as paper ones*. I also accept presents ;)
* I'm paranoid about giving out my postal address unless I've know the person for some time, so please don't be offended if you ask for it and I give you my email address instead.
