Just finished it myself and I absolutely loved it too. I loved the dark and creepy feel to it as well as the humour, the emotion ... it was just a beautiful episode, just so well done. This series does seem rather darker than series five, but that might be just because two of the four episodes so far have been by Steven Moffat and one by Neil Gaiman. I don't know if it will keep getting darker or if we've peaked now and will back off a bit from here, but I hope it stays dark and creepy. I remember Steven Moffat saying in an episode of Confidential a few years ago that kids have always loved the scary episodes - if a child says that an episode of Doctor Who was particularly scary, that's a recommendation. Hopefully there won't be an outpouring of complaints from adults about it being too scary though - or if there is, the Doctor Who people will ignore it and carry on regardless. :P ( ... )
