T and top surgery musings

Jun 02, 2007 20:25

To my surprise, I got a letter from my GP this morning. It said:
"Further to our consultation on 30/5/2007 I am writing to inform you that Dr Seal has recommended that the frequency of your Sustanon injections be increased to every 2 weeks. This would make your next injection due on or around 5/6/2007 and you may wish to make a new appointment ( Read more... )

cleveland is a bit disgusting, too. pre-t i never used to sweat. i'll just say that now i do.

you think that they'll ever let you self-inject? it can be a pain, but it bet it would be better than having to mess with appointments and travel and such.

Last time I asked my GP about self-injecting, she said she didn't think it was such a good idea. The surgery isn't that far away, it's about a 15 minute walk which is fine when I'm not working but when I am, it means I have to fit it in round work, either getting in late or leaving early.

I have no control over my T, I have to do what the Claybrook says. My GP won't do anything unless she gets the say so from the Claybrook. It is frustrating beyond belief. I'm pretty sure that a more steady dose of T would be more beneficial, even if it's something more like 100mg a week.

I really don't know if I'd be able to self-inject. If I could use a little needle and not go into the muscle, I might be able to manage it. But, like I said to ninjanuns, when I asked my GP, she said she didn't think it was a good idea.

I think I was fairly lucky because I didn't bind for that long, but it's still good to not have to deal with that any more. I think I understand what you mean about being shirtless in public if everyone else is. It's like you don't expect to see blokes with no shirts on just on the street, but it's different on a beach. That kind of thing, right?

I also know people who inject subcutaneously with no problems but none that use Sustanon. I would imagine most T is developed to be injected into the muscle though.

It's a fear of needles mainly. It's taken me all my time to get remotely comfortable with having injections for T at all so injecting myself will be really hard. I want to be able to so that I have some control over it. I don't like being reliant on the nurses at the surgery.

I'd love to be on that filter - right now I can see two entries over there, one of which is a ticker. Is that right?

I'm not sure what posts you're seeing there. You're on the filter now, so you should be able to see them all.
