I was up really early this morning ready to go off and have my first ever day of working as male. I'd ironed my shirt last night and got my tie all ready as well for quickness. I had to go into the agency first to pick up my time sheet and find out exactly where it was I was going and I imagined that the traffic would be horrendous so I made sure

The first time I wore a tie to work, I felt like I was finally properly dressed. The job I'm working in now, since I'm on my probation, I haven't dared yet. I feel like i'm going to work in my pyjamas.

right now i do heavy lifting so wearing a tie is frowned upon. it becomes a safety hazzard. in the near future i'm going to go along with a friend of mine and watch her work. (she's a dentist) so i might get to wear a tie there.

A tie would certainly not be appropriate if you're doing heavy lifting. I think if you're going to go wear a tie when you watch your friend work, then you should definitely take pics.

I always wore trousers and shirt to work before, I even wore a tie sometimes, but it's not the same thing. I was still seen as female then.
