Soooo. More Allstate stuff.
Since it was never stated that I wasn't excepted I went in for orientation today. Talked to some of the heads and they seemed to like me, but had to make a few calls so why not just go in with everyone else. Ok. Was a fun little shindig, then i got to talk to someone else. Seems that the only information they could get was that my "offer" was resended. No other information. So here is a number to call. It was the same person I had been emailing about the whole background fiasco to begain with. Oh, and could I leave the "employee gifts" when I go? Alright, fine.
Then I get home and the doorbell rings. Fedex guy that I actually JUST passed on my way out of the Allstate building. What did he have for me? A letter saying that I didn't get the job. you think? The day the job starts and they send it to me...
Fuckers.

Oh, and I'm not employed with Wal-Mart either.
