Hey, Jae! Thanks for giving me the deadite compy we pieced together last year out of spare parts.
So yeah, threw in my hard drive with my OS. Missing bootup files. Ok, no worries, I was just wanting some stuff off it before I reformat it anyway. I can just slave it to Andrews pc, and pull what I need before doing a fresh install on it.
Darn, nothing is salvagable. Oh well, now where is my vista boot disk? There it is, and I put it in like that. And it's not reading it. Oh, look I must of put that gouge in it when I left it an the disk drive I had sitting on a shelf. Got dropped a lot. *Sigh*
*tapclackhackburn* There we go, a Xp sp3 bootable. Annnnd it works. Remove unwanted partition. there we go. Annnnnnd reformat before install. Now to kill time. I know, to Newgrounds!
Ok, Name the new install "Tumor". Ok, now to do some tests. Online with great signal. Everything looks good. Cool, now i'll install the drivers and such to make it truly mine, and now i'll put my awsome video card in it. Like so. Why isn't there any power when I push the button?
Swap out the power supply for my 650w. Power on, ok fans are going. annnnd nothing else. The Tumor, it bleeds. Yet another proccesor is shot. The only constant in this pprocessor murders is the video card. It's been three different Mother boards. Four diffrent sticks of Ram. Four difffrent power supplies. 3 Proccesors. 2 Disk drives. 4 network cards (A partridge in a pear tree). But ONE video card. When this dawned on me I was so fed up, I snapped the card in half and tossed it in the trash. Yes I will need a new one, but I also need yet another processor.
