Maryada Purushottama / The Perfect Man

I would like to take this moment to pay my respects and make known my undying love for the great Lord Rama. I realized today that I have never really posted anything relating to Him, which made me rather sad and compelled me to post something dedicated solely to Him.
As the Lord was here on this Earth as Sri Rama, He was known as the perfect man, the perfect son, the perfect husband, etc., etc. Being the Lord, of course, He is the ultimate embodiment of perfection. When I think of Sri Krishna, I can close my eyes and find myself taken away to another world by the melody of His flute, but when I think of Sri Rama, I yearn to be banished with Him into the forest, where, away from the world, I could stay focused on Him all day and night without any earthly distractions.
He is the perfect romodel. He shows how one should be. He represents the type of person that we are all striving to be in our spiritual and non-spiritual practices. He is the perfect example of how we should treat and behave towards our family, friends, husbands, wives, etc.
What I wouldn't give to be like Him. What I wouldn't give to be able to bow and touch His lotus feet. How I dream of in some way being His Sita; who, of course, is also the perfect example of a woman, wife, etc. How can one not be filled with joy when hearing His name? His Name is that which fills even the most dark and lost soul back up with Light; think of Valmiki! Sri Sri Anandamayi Ma recommends repeating this most wonderful and purifying Name, and don't forget, Ghandi chanted the mantra "Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram" for over 60 years! And look at the wonderful things he accomplished!
I love Rama wholeheartedly and His is a Name that passes through my lips and pounds in my heart regularily. May He help guide us all down the right path and help us to never forget to chant His Name(s). Jai Sri Ram!!!
