I find it hard to believe that Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones are the first games you would pick up for a new Xbox 360.

Majority of the 360's being sold these days have Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones bundled in.

Yeah, those are the games that came with it. Though, I am a big fan of the Lego series so I probably would have picked up Lego Indiana Jones anyway at some point when it got cheaper. No worries. I got Mass Effect a couple of weeks ago and I picked up Fable II yesterday when I got it. I've got a handful of other games Bioshock and Fallout 3 are next on my list. I know what I should be playing. We just didn't want to dedicate any real time to it last night because we'd been training/working/shopping all day and were tired.

Not really. I mean, the Kung Fu Panda game is useless to me except to amuse my friend but the Lego games are actually pretty good. And they were marketing the system during Christmas and trying to hit the family crowds. So this was actually a pretty good move for them. The Military Appreciation ones went a bit further by adding Blue Dragon or Gears of War to try to appeal again to both casual family gamers and then the more hardcore gamer soldiers who also had little ones at home.

From a marketing perspective it was a good move.
