Any moment now, christhawk will show up with her truck, we'll load it up, and our journey to MarsCon will begin! I'm excited as always and I can't wait to see a lot of you in beautiful Bloomington, Minnesota within the next 24 hours. (c:
As always, the Space Oddity Music Club & Brew Pub room party, in room 1334 again like last year, is the best place to find us during the con. We'll be open tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday from 7 p.m. until sometime (very late on Friday and Saturday, I'm sure). Tonight will be mainly a music circle and general hanging out time, but on Friday and Saturday the board games will come out and the Finnegan's Irish Amber + homebrew IPA will flow freely even as the music continues! We're not hosting any concerts this year due to the MANY other venues that are already doing the same around the con, but if you're a musician or a listener, you should definitely check out the circles. We'll have a PA so that artists who rely on backing tracks can bring their MP3 players and perform in that way, as well as the traditional acoustic format. The circle will be run in a moderated chaos fashion, so we'll all take turns and back each other up where it's appropriate. I hope to see a lot of people there to help make the circles ultra-awesome!

Party Rob's Party Bus, 9:20 p.m. Saturday (brief solo set)
FuMP Jukebox, 1:15 p.m. Sunday (one-shot, duo with chia_rhino)
Dementia Smackdown, 2:30 p.m. Sunday (one-shot, cover song, duo with chia_rhino)
And, of course, you can buy my merch at the wonderful Table 27 sales booth just outside the main stage doors.
With that, I should probably finish loading up my stuff. Yay convention weekend!
