Thanks for the comment. I'm not sure if you've seen this video, but for me it really drives home the reason why I'm so fed up with Supernatural. Seeing the show's depictions of women put together like that makes me think - do I even remember who most of these women are? I could deal with a few instances of women-in-jeopardy because every show does it, but with this show it is seriously every single episode and there are no other portrayals to counteract that fact. What the show would be like if the Winchesters were female is beside the point. It is what it is, and at the end of the day, women are either evil, slutty, or victims in SPN-world.
And Ruby is hated by fandom even more than Bela and thus proves my point. And why do you think we haven't seen Ellen in a whole season? She doesn't fit the stereotype therefore she is of no interest to the writers or the fans.
Seriously, though, I'm not angry at you, I'm angry at Kripke, who just does not get it, over and over. I'm glad you like both Ruby and Bela, though. SPN fandom
