staring out the window a million miles away
Demicon was great. My show went well, I sold and traded a bunch of CDs, met some fantastic people who I have now friended, spent quality time with chia_rhino and ericcoleman, heard great music both on stage and in music circle, and generally had a great and successful weekend. Musical highlights included Toyboat's opening song (which I won't ruin for the rest of you), Adam Stemple and Lojo Russo (all I can say to that is "wow"), and finally getting to see a full hour of lukeski concert that was not plagued by technical difficulties! I would also like to state for the record that I highly approve of the full bar + kegs of Blue Moon and Boulevard Wheat in the consuite! All cons should do this! I really appreciate the invite, ericcoleman, and I hope to be back next year.
For now, though, it's been a long day of driving and I'd best be thinking about going to sleep so I can get up and give my finals tomorrow.
