Definitely echoing you on the 'kindred spirit' thing. That's totally how Robin sees Kazuki most of the time, as someone whose values and beliefs and feelings are on-line with hers. I think this is best exemplified when Robin confessed that she'd pact with a demon if it meant the safety of her friends. She thinks she would probably have done exactly the same thing Kazuki did if she were in his shoes, but it took her a bit to realize it because their approach can be markedly different. Robin cares about Kazuki a lot, not just as someone who she connects with, but as someone who has made it into her immediate close circle of people she wants to protect. In Camp that group is pretty much Nana, Elliot, Crow, Sera, and now Kazuki. (Sam goes in this group as well sometimes, but it's complicated)

I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT KAZUKI'S DATING POOL tell me about that. Demonverse included.

Yeah, their approach is pretty different due to their personalities, and that's probably why they get along because they don't clash but still have the same ideals-- such as when it comes down to it they will totes dumb sacrifice themselves for their friends. Also oooh being in Robin's protect group!! /feels the specialist, though tbf Robin is also in Kazuki's (though he kind of trusts her to be able to take care of herself too ( ... )

KAZUKI LIKES YUUKI AND THEY SHOULD THREAD MORE! She is a plucky cute girl who is not as stiff and broody as her brother, which is A++

...also Kazuki can kind of understand where she's coming from with the brofriend issues.

OKAY I DON'T EVEN really these are issues that they have everywhere!! But become more obvious in the setting of Demonverse. They are actually a fairly . . . ish functional couple in camp because of the static nature of things but put them in a more stressed environment and it becomes more obvious what a toxic and shaky relationship they have ( ... )

WELL Kazuki and Haruki are technically brothers. Or clones of brothers. Yes. They weren't raised together as brothers, but they're certainly really close childhood friends that they could consider each other as brothers anyway.

Except then there is a bunch of complicated dependency feelings in there that do sway towards the... well, UST side of things. But then there's the fact they are also growing apart and neither of them particularly like it, and Haruki is going kind of INSANE over it.

So it's very unhealthy and incestuous but what can you do!! He gets the same feeling from Yuuki and Kaname with their relationship though.

He didn't expect it? And only half understand it, especially re: the marriage thing. Obviously, and he's a little concerned that Ruka doesn't seem to want to come to him when there is a problem, or trusts him that he will still be around for Ruka re: both. He's not entirely convinced the issue is resolved either, what with how much Ruka's flipped out, but he'll be pointedly asking Ruka how he's doing more often now! Especially when Ruka is in an obvious bad mood.

WELL I KIND OF MINIESSAYED AT YOU ABOUT THAT BEFORE... Buuut other than what I said there, Ruka wasn't really... satisfied with the conclusion of that conversation! They kind of changed tracks and Kazuki handwaved it a lot with IT'LL BE OKAY!! which, you know, isn't reassuring at all. But he's kind of ignoring it in the meantime, and figures that if anything NOTABLE!! ever happens with Kazuki and his love life he can flip out at him again if necessary. ACCEPT MY POSSESSIVE FEELINGS KAZUKI.

idk questions are hard. what would Kazuki do if HARUKI started dating.
