Let me know if you need resume help - I just took a whole quarter's worth of professional development that included cover letters and resumes.
Where did you get your meditation info? I sit and think about anything/everything whenever possible but it is *not* the same as meditiating! I'm looking to break some of my negative thought-patterns that I think (no pun intended) are causing me anxiety when I lack a work/school schedule. It sounds so specific, but I've noticed my anxiety has spiked/does spike now I'm at home, taking online classes with no set work schedule (the work schedule I aim to fix ASAP). I know graduating can have that effect, too, that 'happy-sad' feeling and that's what it feels like. I Googled 'negative thought patterns and anxiety' and got overwhelmed with the results so I never looked at anything. I know CBT is good but I think I know too much about it, helping other people and explaining the concept than helping myself and applying it.
Oh, right. You'd told me about that: have-and-ignore thoughts instead of empty-mind. That is way easier than empty-mind which worked for me about as well as "don't think about pink elephants…Are you thinking about pink elephants? Yes? Of course you are - I told you not to think about pink elephants" while the pink elephants from Dumbo are drunkenly dancing in my head

Having a clothes clear out is good. I really must do the same. I'm a bit of a hoarder...not to a bad degree but if I once loved wearing something I can't bear to part with it. I really must get over that!
You made me laugh with the 'My ex is still dead (that is so awesome)' comment. I know I shouldn't but....
I'm now off to my favourite seaside for the week - in a big cottage with all the family who wants to come. :)
