Loved this! It's late, or I would leave a more detailed comment. But this was wonderful. And I love it when you show both pov's. What Peter was thinking surprised me this time.

interesting take on the two,but I'm curious for more to see how it turns out.I'm with you on Peter not wanting subservience, but with time passing differently there,it can be hard to imagine Sylar changing so much from someone scary to battle with,to someone who no longer clings to needs that had him killing before.Seeing him as any kind of prospect, even in The Wall,is asking Peter to take some giant risks on someone he's not sure of that's understandably stuck seeing through a negative light himself.Even with that kind of a set up,Sylar is more likely up for taking risks than Peter, but Peter will eventually come around to try and figure things out himself.Any kind of talks or encouragements along the way would only help him out,but balance has to be kept in his mind for him to ever be up for taking risks or chancing things....

The thing about this 'Bricks in the Wall' series is that it's a collection of one-shots so I could corral my various Wall-fic ideas rather than having them strung out without connection. If you read other chapters in it, you'll see me approach the 'first kiss' a lot of different ways. Generally, Sylar's the one requesting the relationship/making a pass at Peter, but sometimes Peter initiates and sometimes Sylar does ( ... )

I cannot get enough of your fics where you tell both points of view on the same event, it's really a great insight into our boys' heads. :)
