Spidermax, Spidermax, does whatever he feels like doing

I couldn't get back into Wilson last night, so I climbed onto the second floor deck and walked in.

A friend of mine told me, crying, how a friend of hers was extremely uncomfortable around gay people, which made my friend extremely uncomfortable in turn. Two women also with us comforted her, "it's not your fault," "she's wrong to feel that way, it's bad," "this is her fault, she's horrible." When I piped up, "her discomfort means she's insecure. This isn't about you, or gay people at all. It's about her insecurity with herself, as all prejudice is."* but they shook their heads and continued, "it's still awful." They talked for near an hour about exactly how awful it is as I thought, "this is verbal masturbation."

It is the sophist's solution to try and reason his way through life sans action.
