I was looking forward to trapeze tonight as a break from thinking about serious things, but in my attempts to succeed at intermediate trapeze and prove to myself that I was good enough, I didn't take a break when I needed to and instead lost my grip and fell on my head.  one trip to the ER later, I am more or less healthy, but I have a black eye ( Read more... )

This evening I was feeling stressed out and a little grumpy, but as usual trapeze came through for me.  This time it was a series of pleasant surprises: that I could do the upside-down descent from up high, that I could do a side pose without being terrified, and that I noticed some strength that I didn't used to have ( Read more... )
