I know that you can't corner very well, or understand that your foot doesn't actually have to be on either the brake or gas pedal while driving. Dun get me started.

As far as I'm concerned, if you can't drive a standard shift automobile, you shouldn't have the priviledge of driving anything.

Harsh ? Oh hell yeah! Would it help ? Yup!

To qualify that, I don't think you should have to drive one all the time, just that having to sort out shifting, et al and still be able to drive tends to lead to folks who are more concious of things while driving.

Hell, even I'd go crazy without cruise control on the highways ;-)

HA - while I agree with your sentiment, I don't think it holds water for the majority of all female drivers. In fact, unless they are drivers, they'll be more frustrated with getting the car going to be paying attention to everything else *shudders*

I mean drivers in general (both guys and gals).

There is _ no _ way that there is more bad female drivers then bad male drivers ... We're all in this one together :P
