running around 'n round 'n round
This morning Vario woke me up early to see if I wanted to accompany him in taking his car in for service downtown. I asked him why, and his reason? So he could "get down there faster" - implying that I made up the two person quota for the carpool lane, skipping lots of traffic. I rolled over. XD Well, more asking and several kisses later I got up and went with him anyways :P
We got a loaner car from the dealership garage, and wow was it not only just barely above base model - it was abused, and Vario blames fat people LOL. It's got a classic suspension, so it's softer than a sport trim vehicle, but we thought that it was really gone because there was almost a constant squeaking on the road. But Vario soon discovered that it was really just the chair, hence the blaming fat people. The closed tray was also marked with a "no smoking" label, but we found a crumpled (used?) tissue and a browning apple core stuffed inside. EW. The service guys will definitly be hearing about that.
Also checked out a cool furniture/home decor store at Bayview Village called Restoration Hardware. Some very nice stuff, with matching price tags (oi!). But the linens? A 346 to 600 thread count? Yes, please! Like William Sonoma, they also have a selection of scented lotions, hand soaps, all the way to vacuum balls and dryer sheets! I absolutely loved the Grapefruit Ginger and Lemongrass scents, so I bought the dryer sheets on impulse. Maybe next time I'll splurge a little on the hand lotion, because I got some from the tester and it still smells yummy.
(oh snap, they have a gift registry! :O)
So, I'll be in O-town tomorrow until Tues/Wed! Lemme know if you wanna hang :)
I have a shopping mission to accomplish of a crafty nature on Saturday, and wouldn't mind some company nor adding other shopping destinations to visit :D
