An awesome year ahead!
Yes, indeed 2008 feels different. On so many fronts. And not to mention what an awesome start to the new year.
After feeling pretty crap for the past 1.5 weeks...things are looking up. My God is indeed my Provider, He looks into every single detail and I am awed yet again.
Here are the events that has and will set 2008 apart:
1) A magazine has expressed interest. Have just sent my resume over and I am very excited! But I will continue to send resumes.
2) I will begin serving again this year. After slacking off for the longest time. I was interested but was afraid to step up. But as always, God has His ways and the one in charge of the ministry brought it up over lunch. I feign relunctance but was so amazed at the turn of events that I agreed before the lunch ended. Ok. actually in the span of less than 15 minutes.
3) My relationship with my parents is getting better and I hope this continues =)
4) That there is someone out there that actually matches my list of what I want in a guy and more. There is indeed hope yet!
5) That I managed to hit the weight goal I've set to meet by end 2007. Here's to a slimmer and healthier me in 2008! The weight loss doesn't stop there!
6) Nothing beats starting the year off on a good foot. A day trip to Malacca with fantastic company, good food, fast car and too much laughter.
7) Two of my favourite nieces are back in Singapore!
I think this is the most amazing start to a year ever! It's really all You, Heavenly Father!
