A small summary of the past few days
So, it seems that LiveJournal's pretty empty recently. Is there anyone still there? I suppose it's due to the fact that it's the end of the summer, and a lot of people are going back to school/university. Speaking of that, my summer holiday ends on Thursday, so from Friday onwards I won't be around as much (at least not in the daytime). Back to timetables and general learning hell.
Anyway, I haven't posted for a few days, mainly because not much has happened, but I do have a few of pictures to share, for general merriments sake.
^These are from a tramway village, where everything is preserved in a kind of oldschool way. Anyway, they had a police box there, which is pretty damn awesome (although I have been before, so I knew it was there, but it's still awesome). There were heaps of kids running round pointing out the apparent TARDIS. There was also a car there which is a kind of replica of "Bessie", the car that the third Doctor used to drive around. The third picture's just there because I thought it was kinda pretty.
Okay, the other pictures I have are of a panda that I sewed (this is what I mentioned to
neverwinter). I bought this set in May I think, and started it then, but had to stop because of revision and exams. I only started again a couple of days ago, and I finally finished yesterday! I thought I'd share the pics because I never thought I'd actually finish this. I've never sewed anything as big as this before. Probably the next most complicated thing I've done was a miniature waistcoat. The little bow-tie I found in one of my drawers, so god knows where that comes from, but it's kinda cute.
^Just a couple of cute poses. I haven't given him a name yet, because I can't think of one. He's quite big (the packet says 25cm) and really soft.
About all that's happening between now and the end of summer, is I'm going to IMAX tomorrow to see The Dark Knight (for the third time), with my friend Deborah. We haven't seen it together yet, so it should be awesome, especially because the IMAX screens are huge. But now I'm gonna go watch Batman Begins again in preparation :) Oh, and thanks for all the help with the music files and format from my last post. I managed to get things sorted out finally, and got the songs I wanted **hugs to all**
