Many people don't know that the Italian word paparazzi finds its origin in the landmark 1960 Italian film La Dolce Vita, by Federico Fellini. Paparazzi is plural for paparazzo. In the film there is a character named Paparazzo, played by Walter Santesso. He is a scandal-sheet photographer who accompanies reporter Marcello (Marcello Mastroianni)
