Sophia Loren's spogliarello or striptease in the final of three episodes of the 1963 Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow was a knockout. She plays an expensive hooker named Mara. I love the expression on Marcello Mastroianni's face in the above poster. In case you haven't seen it, Marcello plays a Bologna businessman who regularly visits Mara in her apartment whenever he is in Rome. Here he is going wild over her artistic disrobement. At the same time, a young seminarian boarding nearby also falls in love with Mara and almost loses his vocation, until his family and good-natured Mara herself drive some sense into the virginal but impulsive lad. The fool should have succumbed.
