House-warming party
About one week ago I had first party at my place. It was just lovely! I have never seen so many people at my place at the same time. It was so nice to feel my home full of friends!
I wanted to please my guests with something special. So, Russian pancakes seemed to be the best idea! There were salty salmon, butter, pancakes, jam, fresh salad, tea and sweets. Thanks a lot for candies to Pyry and Na.
The evening was really nice. We were speaking about different cultures and their peculiarities. Couldn’t you imagine that rice can be cooked in many different ways and polished rice is actually better then unpolished?! And the dumplings (“пельмени”) in Finnish language consist in a few words and there is an included description of fatty woman who cooks it! And my favorite cookies in here with a lot of cinnamon are actually very traditional sweets for Christmas in Finland! And they used to eat them as dough in childhood! =)
After all of this I presume that my home was really warmed up by my friends! What a great thing to feel about my colleagues as about friends!
