It's Dafna's 20th birthday - Mazal tof dear!
well, not much more to say.
been an ok week. experiments gave good, or at least hopefull results.
well, some of them.
am going north tomorrow, for a weekend with miri, but primarily to visit dafna on her day after birthday...
i was invited to a friend today, for a sci-fi eve, but alas - as you can guess - am still working now. actually, am writing it from the FACS room (FACS: Fluorecence Activated Cell Sorter).
got my Storyteller DVD collection yesterday. It's wonderfull.
today, i got two CDs that i ordered - Tom Smith's "Debasement tapes" and Dr. Demento's collection of Space-related filks. sampled some of the songs - quite nice.
saturday eve we have a "lab evening"- meaning my lab members meet for a Bar B Q. i'm not a big fan of such events. but, well, i'm incharge of bringing the pitas.
everybody will bring their housband/wife/boyfriend + kids.
i don't want to bring Miri. 1) why make her drive 2 hours for such an event? 2) she needs to study for an exam on monday. 3) i wouldn't submit her to that torture this early in our relationship...
