My parents left 2 1/2 weeks ago for their latest vacation, in which they flew to Chile, spent a few days there, then boarded a ship (a Norwegian ferry boat) for a two-week cruise of Antarctica, including stops on several islands plus the mainland. The cruise would end off in Argentina, where they would spend a few days, then go on to a waterfall in Brazil (the name escapes me) before flying home some time next week.
My DH found this article as he was cruising the Toronto Star website for his daily news fix this evening:
