HA! Take that, freakin' layout. I showed you! :P
So I ended up changing the entire thing, completely new code. I was looking around to see if I could find some codes to help me with my dilemma and ended up finding another layout that piqued my interest. Granted, it's very similar to my old one. Cleaner though, perhaps.
Spent the last few hours just making icons, throwing the header and background together and tweaking colours.
The vast majority of my day was spent playing more of "The World Ends With You", to the point I had to recharge my DS... Lol. I don't even think I'm making that much headway in the game, just fighting lots of Noise and buying items. I'm level 50-something in the middle of Week 2. I've no idea if that's good or not 'cause I have no idea how long the game runs for, but yeah. That's where I'm at.
When my DS died, I went to something a little less technical for a change and sat down to read one of my books.
While all this was happening though, turns out the water heater exploded downstairs and flooded the crawlspace. Awesome. A lot of my things are stored down there including some antique, leather bound books. My cousin, who happens to be a plumber, got everything fixed up for us, new heater and all, so I should be able to have a nice hot shower. From what my father is telling me, my stuff seems to have escaped damage, but I'll feel better when I can see it with my own eyes. Sounds like tomorrow might be spent going through everything.
Aaaand, to alleviate my feelings of guilt for still not doing anything, I've managed to apply for a job today! We'll see what comes of that.
