I think the first horror themed video game I ever played was CastleVania. Beside the visuals, which were years ahead of other games, there was this terrific music. I was already a classical listener between the hours of MTV, so the strange mix of baroque organ and rock 'n roll was fascinating to me. I memorized all the tunes and would hum and whistle them all the time. I still remember some today.

The games have gone on and to their credit they still have a baroque rock quality that I enjoy. So when I started writing this song I knew it could be my little tribute to the sounds of days gone by.
