The Voice of Fate
So the mic rearranging paid off. The voice over work I did was well received and the project head especially liked the force of my admonishing tone when telling people what NOT to do. There may be more some day which would be a nice way to break up the usual studio time.
VO is always neat, and I like to do the work when I can get it. It's a difficult racket though and like the rest of the audio industry really has more to do with network and knowing people than it does with talent. It's pretty cutthroat. Just imagine all the actors who were ever told they had a nice voice standing in line. They don't even have to be good looking.
