If you care about somebody so much then you are willing to let them go because their happiness means so much more to you then your own, would you call that love's biggest and most painful sacrifice? Letting go is a painful experience because it is not what you want. You want to be with this person and the distance only makes it harder. Both of you know it's for the best but why are you still wiping away tears? It's like everything you experienced was just one long, amazing dream and you don't want to get out of bed. Life will go on but you keep this person in your heart because that is where they belong. You wish things would have worked out differently but unfortunately, this is the reality you have to live with. You want them to change their minds but it's too late and the timing was just not right.
