Dear Ben Cross (Letter #15)
Dear Ben,
Hope the evening finds you well.
Mine is going alright. My apartment (at least the upstairs) is really hot. I've opened the balcony door so it's tolerable with the temperature slowing going towards comfortable. I'm not as fond of summer. I prefer the coolness of fall and spring myself.
It's my impression that you are fond of Bulgaria and I wonder what the weather's like there. Of course I have no idea regarding anything about Bulgaria so I'm sure there are many more fascinating things about it than the weather. I'm also rather curious as to why you would want to live there. I would think it's not the typical celebrity choice for residence but then you too are human and if that's where you feel comfortable then that's good enough for me.
I just got off the phone with my mom. There's finally a date for my Uncle's funeral. June 15th. His death is unlike other deaths in the family. Usually with the death of someone I have known things run quickly and efficiently. This 'inefficiency' is not my mom's fault. Everything seems to drag as there are people she must wait upon for information. We were fortunate to get a church to have a service for him free of charge, though I feel somehow a donation must be arranged.
I suggested to mom that at the service Bob's (and mom's) friends should be mentioned as they have been of invaluable service. Her friends helped her clear out the immense amount of stuff in my Uncle's place and have also assisted with the arrangement for the church. Without that I think my mom would have lost her mind. Seriously, that woman is high strung. She says that there's nothing I can do for her but I can't help but feel she just doesn't want me too. Oh well, I'm not going to push it.
I just finished watching a movie called Extinction starring Daniel Buder and Luise Bahr. It's actually quite good. It was a free rental from Xbox 360 and I didn't actually have high hopes for it. But it turned out pretty decent. A lot of the 'zombies' seem very similar to Left for Dead (it's a game) zombies but the movie was entertaining. If you like zombies, I think you'd probably like this movie.
Well, I guess it's about time I thought about going to bed. It's 11 pm. The day went by so quickly.
