Vocals for Heather are up!
Hey folks! Itr's been a productive week! I got vocals and strings done for "Heather in the Mead" and "Dirty LIttle Secret" You can hear them at http://www.gaiaconsort.com/vitusdance.html - click on the light green link that says "Voices" under "Heather in the Mead" to hear the most recent takes.
Next week we have a little bit of tweaking to do on Tuesday - adding some special sounds to "Heather..." maybe re-working a some of the guitar, fixing some vocals and adding mellotron to "Dirty..." Then Friday we set up most of the mix, Sue comes in after work to add her vocals to "Heather..."
and then we mix!
Scheduling issues may slow us getting to "Face in the Clouds" - until October. Larry leaves for two weeks in Italy (poor Larry!) Sept 16 and getting people together all at once is a challenge between now and then...
That's ok - it gives me time to write a little more.
We'll mot likely shorten Heather a little, and we'll play with endings as well. Listen for the differences when we've mixed next week.
