Would I start a war if I started telling people that their Ugg boots were never cute? That they have always been some of the ugliest things I have ever seen? That they were ugly six years ago and things have not changed? I attempt to be a peace lover, but I'm considering taking this risk. I think it might be worth it. A lot of the stupid people

So I always thought ug style boots were ugly, especially when people go wearing them around with shorts or skirts. Then I found a pair at good will and needed a more bootlike shoe to wear in the slushy weather (these come a good way past my ankle - I thought they all did?) and for $5 I decided to give them a try. They are not actually ug brand, but definitely the style.

I still find them ugly, but I have grown fond of them in their ugliness as they are soooo comfy. It's like a license to wear my slippers to class... And they did hold up pretty well in snow and slush even with a several mile hike with my dad (they went to OH with me as they were a breeze to get on and off in airport security) though they do definitely lack arch support.

so I think you are perfectly fine with your rant. I have coworkers who drive me NUTS. One is just an ass and some others I even really like because they are helpful and work hard but say dumb things or we have very opposing political views and I am too lazy and feel too uninformed to get into a debate. I often think of you and how if we lived near each other there would be many meet ups for beer and complaining! You could always use your earbuds as a decoy to eavesdrop on them, and totally embarrass them by joining in the conversation at some random point ;) Hope you find a super cool job at Kent!
