This was one of the first Gaeta stories I read, and I can't find it anywhere... It was a New Caprica fic. Gaeta was discovered by the Cylons, who shot him right before the Exodus. He's rescued, and while in sickbay Adama debriefs him. The story of the dog bowl pops up.
