that weird "Little Black Dress" Challenge again...
Greetings! It's time for an update of the "Little Black Dress" challenge again because the challenge won't be over of course before Gaeta has frakked the whole fleet. ;)

Here's all fic written for this challenge yet. All of those fics are amazing, as unusual pairings often test the writers to the limit and all those writers were up to the challenge. So if you haven't done so yet, you should absolutely give them a shot:

Who counts?
There have been discussions about which characters actually qualify for this challenge. Like, should we count that marine with the pretty eyes who doesn't have a name? So we've scienticified the whole issue. We- namely blue_crow, kappamaki33 and myself- have come up with a definition:
For a character to be paired with Gaeta in this challenge, they
1. have to have had lines
2. ... in more than one episode,
3. they have to have a name
4. and they have to have at least a trace of character beyond just being a jerk.
This means, for example, that we've ruled out Stinger, Gage, Vireem, the true mother of Kara's supposed child, the hybrid, the Dradis screen and the pretty marine. But! If you still feel inclined to write those pairings, we would gladly list them as part of the challenge. We just don't consider them to be necessary to complete the mission because obviously, Gaeta can't be bothered with every extra coming his way. We're supposing that he fraks those off-screen. If you want to disagree about a pairing we've ruled out, we wouldn't complain if you'd provide us with a fic about that pairing at the same time. ;)

If you can think of more pairings that haven't been written yet or if you remember fic about any of those pairings, please tell us! If you don't, write it, write it! Every story counts the moment you would call it a pairing in the disclaimer, no matter the reason. That means unrequited love is okay, meaningless romps in the duty lockers are definitely okay, UST and subtext are okay and so on. We trust your judgement. There are no rules. We just want to pair Gaeta with everybody. Because he deserves it! And also it would make Gaeta unique in the whole fandom. He already is that but it would be better if we had proof. ;)
What else? Well, write it! Lots of exciting fic still has to be written! You could also share plotbunnies if you have something in mind but can't write it yourself. Maybe somebody else will write it instead. It's hard, coming up with a scenario for some of those pairings but I'm sure we can make it if we help each other out. Do it for Gaeta! ;)
